Mumon
This is a single-origin cultivar "Asahi" cultivated in both the "Okunoyama" and "Togawa" tea gardens, which are cultivated and managed by our garden, and processed, processed, and ground matcha.
The "Asahi" variety is said to be the best of matcha, with excellent taste and aroma, and ranks highly at tea competitions every year. The "Asahi" variety we grow at our farm is named "Mumon" and has been well-received.

How to Store Matcha to Preserve Quality
The colder the storage, the fresher the matcha stays.
Storage Guidelines
- Regular use — Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 months
- Occasional use — Store in the freezer for up to 1 year
Before Opening — Let It Reach Room Temperature First
Opening cold matcha exposes it to condensation, causing moisture damage. Always let it warm up before unsealing.
- From refrigerator → Rest at room temperature until fully warmed before opening
- From freezer → Transfer to refrigerator for 1 hour → Then rest at room temperature before opening
After Use — Seal It Properly
- Squeeze out all air from the bag before closing
- Seal the zip-lock tightly
- Place inside an airtight container
- Return to the refrigerator or freezer immediately
