"The beauty of Uji tea" Since our founding in the 12th year of the Meji era, we have remained devoted to the pursuit of exceptional tea. From the Yamashiro region of Uji, we carefully select leaves of the highest quality and character. We also draw from the rich Kizu river basin, crafting each tea with time-honored, traditional techniques. Our "Okunoyama" tea garden one of the historic Uji Shichimeien was established in the Muromachi period. As the only one of those famed gardens still existing today, it continues to uphold the legacy of true Uj excellence.
